Entering the second quarter of 2021, the hotel industry in Jakarta started to gain revival, though it has not returned to its normal level. This was indicated by the increase in the Star Hotels Room Occupancy Rate which reached 46.59 percent, or rose by 1.48 percentage points compared to the previous month. This figure was the highest ever since the COVID-19 pandemic began to hit Indonesia in March 2020.
