Abstract

The DKI Jakarta Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) in the third quarter of 2019 reached 101.67. This shows that in general the people of DKI Jakarta think that their economic condition in that period is better than the previous quarter.
The increase in consumer optimism was driven by the growth in the volume of consumption of goods and services, especially consumption of foodstuffs, education, and the purchase of pulses which recorded the highest index values.
